Trip Details
The trip starts with a 20 km drive to the east through RN3. It is around 30 minutes by the only national TDF route that takes us into the Fuegian valleys.
Upon reaching km 20, we will start the walk towards the Esmeralda lagoon: they are almost 5 kms one way where we will cross two completely different valleys: the first will be the Tierra Mayor Valley, which is 250 m asl and the second, the River Valley Emerald. About two hours of hiking await us among pristine forests, peatlands, castoreras, mountains and glaciers that will delight us with their colors. Nature surrounds us throughout the circuit.
At noon, we will arrive at the Esmeralda Lagoon. It is time for those unique and personal photos. Time of contemplation and enjoyment before this natural beauty that the lagoon gives us.
