Minitrekking to Velo de la Novia

We take you to see the most accessible waterfall near the city of Ushuaia. We will transfer you from the hotel to the base of Mount Olivia where we will undertake a short and picturesque walk until you see the different falls of the Bride’s Veil. We include snack and bilingual guide. We take the N3 route eastwards until km 3047 where the Kawi Yopen campsite and the Anoka Plant, water filler of the De Agostini Glacier, are located. There we will begin the path until the first jump of the Bride’s Veil.

This first route is surrounded by a pure lenga forest. During the summer, we can observe species of flora typical of the Patagonian Andean forest: golden button, green orchids and dog orchids. We go slowly up to the first jump walking by the river Olivia and leaving it below to reach the viewpoint. We will have a few minutes to take pictures. From this point, we continue uphill where the forest changes. Now the only species we see is the evergreen beech tree. We will quickly enter the small hidden canyon of the waterfall. And there it is: The Veil of the Bride! It will be time for rest and snack. The path continues a few more meters to a stream where we stop to take pictures of this last corner.
