Camping

If you are after an unforgettable adventure experience, camping in Antarctica is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a night under the Antarctic skies. This adventure option is available on most Antarctic expeditions, but as there are limited number of spots available in each voyage, it is strongly recommended you reserve your spot along with the reservation of your voyage. You do not have to bring anything but warm layers, as all equipment, guides and instructions are provided by your expedition leaders. After enjoying a delicious dinner onboard your vessel, you will be taken ashore on a zodiac with your tent and sleeping bag. Get ready to breath fresh air, activate all your senses and experience a night on the White Continent where you’ll be able to hear all the natural sounds of the Antarctic night and the crack of ice breaking in the distance. In the morning, when you go back to the ship you are free to take a hot shower and reenergize with a delightful breakfast for another adventurous day on your Antarctic expedition.

Frequency: offered one time during your voyage, weather permitting

What do I need?  All equipment provided

Experience: No experience required to participate
