About the ICELAND: Circumnavigation itinerary

Iceland serves as a gateway to the Arctic, offering itineraries that explore its rugged coastlines, volcanic landscapes, and rich birdlife. Some voyages combine Iceland with destinations like Jan Mayen or Svalbard, crossing the Arctic Circle and providing opportunities to witness diverse marine life, including whales and seals. Excursions may include visits to remote islands, Zodiac cruises along glacier fronts, and hikes through dramatic terrains shaped by volcanic activity. The blend of geological wonders and abundant wildlife makes Iceland a unique Arctic destination.

Embarkation in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Board your expedition vessel in the capital of Iceland. After settling into your cabin and attending briefings, the ship departs Reykjavík in the evening, beginning the circumnavigation.

Day 2 -7: Exploring Iceland

Cruise along Iceland’s rugged coast with stops in remote fjords, volcanic islands, and small fishing communities. Possible highlights include:

The dramatic cliffs and puffin colonies of the Westfjords.
Akureyri and the nearby geothermal area of Lake Mývatn.
The colorful town of Seyðisfjörður in the Eastfjords.
Zodiac landings and hikes in rarely visited areas, shaped by lava fields and glaciers.

Day 8 — Disembarkation in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Arrive back in Reykjavík and disembark. You may wish to extend your stay to explore Iceland’s iconic Golden Circle or Blue Lagoon.

Notes

Cruise Price does not include international airfare. Port charges are included.
All cabins are outside, with two lower beds and private shower and toilet. Rates are per person based on double occupancy.
Single occupancy of a twin cabin is available at: 1.7 times the twin rate in Main Deck, Classic and Superior Suites; and 2.0 times the twin rate in Deluxe, Premium and Owner Suites.
Cabin share is available only in the following categories: Triple Classic, Main Deck, Classic and Superior Suites.
Adventure options: Kayaking Antarctic Peninsula voyages – $795 (double kayaks only), Kayaking South Georgia and Falkland Island voyages – $895, Camping – $285. Kayaking is limited to 16 participants and camping 30. Adventure Options paid for at time of deposit.
Emergency Medical/Evacuation Insurance to a minimum benefit of USD 200,000 is required and is not included in the trip cost.
A fuel surcharge may be applied for all bookings if there is a substantial increase in fuel costs.
