Sarah Scott
After ten years in Antarctic sales and many trips to the White Continent, Sarah continues to be fascinated by polar expeditions. Sarah has helped more than 6,000 people travel to Antarctica, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands and the Arctic. Her knowledge of each ship and itinerary lets her match clients with the best fit. Sarah worked as an assistant expedition leader and zodiac driver aboard ships to Antarctica in 2012, gaining an in-depth understanding of the trips, logistics and details of what makes each experience special. She specializes ins sales, working with people from all over the world and all walks of life to make their dream trips come true. On any given day, you can find Sarah out for a walk with kids Lucas & Sofia, running around town in her alma mater UNC-Chapel Hill t-shirt or down at the port visiting with passengers and crew.
Gabriel Chocron
It’s hard to find anyone in Ushuaia who doesn’t know Gabi. Founding Freestyle Hostel in 2005 and Alto Andino Hotel in 2007 with his family, Gabi has lived on Tierra del Fuego since 1982. He has worked in tourism and hotels on the island his entire adult life, except the years at university in Mar del Plata studying finance and accounting. Always sporting a smile, Gabi’s favorite part of the business is people– getting to know clients from all over the world– and sharing his home with them. Gabi is dedicated to operations and logistics in Ushuaia, handling passenger services in the port, and he specializes in giving you a personalized and in-depth experience while in Ushuaia, Patagonia and Antarctica. He has visited Antarctica multiple times aboard different ships, as well as sailing to Cape Horn & the Chilean fjords. Gabi is a licensed zodiac driver and trilingual (Spanish, English & Portuguese). On the weekends, you can find Gabi coaching or playing rugby at a local club, or fly fishing with his friends in the mountains.
Carolina Gomez
After traveling around the world for more than three years and exploring more than 30 countries with different cultures, Carolina has chosen Ushuaia as her home. With a Masters degree in Tourism and with a passion for the mountain treks, she has found the landscapes and activities according to her lifestyle in the southernmost city in the world. Carolina is bilingual (Spanish – English). Although she was born in Argentina, she spent her childhood in Canada. Carolina has more than ten years of experience in Customer Service and 3 years of experience with Antarctica expeditions and crossed the Antarctic Circle! She has dedicated the last seven years entirely to Tourism. She is always willing to help, with a huge smile on her face.
Yesica Sosa
Born and raised in Ushuaia, Yesica always finds herself coming back to choose Ushuaia. At the foot of the mountains is her place in the world, despite a few attempts to work in other cities in Argentina. Yesica has been involved in tourism for 15 years. She started with early experiences in the hospitality industry and studied Hotel Management. Then, after working in the Tourist Information office, National Parks and different travel agencies, she decided to pursue a degree in Tourism. This path led Yesica to discover Antarctica with Freestyle. She delights in assisting passengers as they plan a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Yesica specializes in operations and guest services. In her free time, Yesica enjoys going into the mountains and exploring the different landscapes on Tierra del Fuego.
